Amsterdam-based boutique, Patta, celebrated their 20th anniversary by bringing back one of the most beloved Air Max 1s of all time earlier this month! The “Chlorophyll” Air Max 1 originally released in 2009 to honour Patta’s then-fifth anniversary. 15 years later, and it’s finally returned true to OG form.
Marvel’s Silver Surfer is the unofficial theme of these cult classic Dunks that originally dropped two decades ago. Brought back true to OG form, these feature a two layered mesh upper, two tones of grey leather, and blue and red accents throughout. SoleSavy recently brought back a third colourway of their custom SS1 silhouette, manufactured by Garrixon Studios in Philadelphia. Utilizing genuine Air Jordan 1 soles, the upper is built from the ground up using premium materials, with a colour palette paying homage to the Doernbecher Freestyle program. This program is set to celebrate their 20th anniversary and a portion of the proceeds from the sales of these shoes are to be donated to Doernbecher directly! Just five years after the last retro (that I also happened to review), the Nike Air Tech Challenge II is back in the original “Hot Lava” colourway, as part of Nike’s Cult Classics reissue program.
