SoleSavy recently brought back a third colourway of their custom SS1 silhouette, manufactured by Garrixon Studios in Philadelphia. Utilizing genuine Air Jordan 1 soles, the upper is built from the ground up using premium materials, with a colour palette paying homage to the Doernbecher Freestyle program. This program is set to celebrate their 20th anniversary and a portion of the proceeds from the sales of these shoes are to be donated to Doernbecher directly! Just five years after the last retro (that I also happened to review), the Nike Air Tech Challenge II is back in the original “Hot Lava” colourway, as part of Nike’s Cult Classics reissue program. Nike’s annual “NY vs. NY” collection is back to celebrate the city’s basketball tournament.
