My fave from the Nike Sportswear Recycled Canvas pack, my latest review covers the Air Max 90! Constructed out of recycled canvas, foam and leather, these shoes contain approximately 20% reused materials. Beyond that though, they are a beautiful colourway that I was very excited for. As we usher in 2020, this marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Max 90. Originally releasing in 1990, these have stood the test of time, and have been reintroduced by Nike with a revamped shape – closer to the original release from thirty years ago. This debut colour of the new “old” shape, dropped at the end of December in an all Sail makeup. Check out my in-depth review to learn more!
Dropping in mid-November, Nike released the Air Max 90 NRG “Camowabb”, inspired by the classic Air Mowabb model, but with an earthy-twist on the palette. With lasered-leather, suede, and nylon components on the upper, these are another very well done Air Max 90, which Nike has continued to do so this year. Check out my latest video to learn more!
Aleali May recently teamed up with Jordan Brand once again to release another women’s Air Jordan 1. This time, it features a suede upper with colour blocking reminiscent of the classic “Viotech” Dunk by Nike. Check out my in-depth review and see how they look on feet!
What a way to close out the year! Union LA and Jordan Brand teamed up in November to release a collection inspired by vintage wear and style. Headlining the release was the “Storm Blue” Air Jordan 1 which was only available for purchase through Union. Luck would have it and I landed a pair, which allowed me to bring today’s review to you all. Check out all the details and why this shoe has many calling it their favourite drop of 2018!
Following the initial launch of the Air Jordan 3 Retro JTH in March, Jordan Brand and Justin Timberlake are back, this time in the “Bio Beige” colourway paying homage to the Man of the Woods album! Whether or not this was a Drake collab or not, the “Raptor” Air Jordan 4s are still a very clean colourway on a classic Jordan silhouette. This latest drop by Jordan Brand was especially special for sneakerheads in the Toronto area, and as a result I had to scoop up a pair for the collection!
One of the stranger collabs in recent memory, the Just Don x Air Jordan Legacy 312 released three more colourways this past weekend. My fave of the bunch was inspired by the iconic “Air Command Force” model, in a beautiful white, black and volt makeup.
