Though these dropped in late August, I finally got my hands on these bad boys last week! This recent YCMC x New Balance release featured a 990 V3 in a beautiful mix of grey suedes and nubucks. Amsterdam based boutique, Patta, recently dropped their latest New Balance collaboration with the 990 V3. Part of the “Keep Your Family Close” collection, this Made in USA sneaker features an olive pigskin coloured suede, bold lime green nubuck overlays, and grey hits. Although they dropped earlier this year, here in Canada we finally got our shipments of the “Infrared” Air Jordan 4 recently. Today I’m reviewing one of general release 2002R colourways to release this year, the “Phantom / Magnet” edition that dropped recently in Canada. Featuring a mix of suede, mesh and nubuck on the upper, the entire shoe is given a vintage vibe with a faded upper, and yellowed midsole which makes the shoe seem like it’s straight from the 80s. Bodega and Hoka are set to drop a limited collection later today, March 25th! I was sent over a pair of the Kaha Low GTX and I had to throw up a review of these hiking shoe beauties! London-based, independent sneaker brand, Notwoways (co-founded by YouTuber Callux), is kicking off 2022 strong with their upcoming release, “Syzygy”. Opting for a more simple colour blocking, white leather and mesh is complimented with black nubuck overlays resulting in their most wearable pair yet. Nike dropped a brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 4 last week. Nicknamed the “Red Thunder” due to its similarities to the original “Thunder” Jordan 4, these feature a black nubuck upper, hits of white on the heel and midsole, along with splashes of red throughout.
