Kith’s latest project with Madison Square Garden saw the release of three New Balance models – a 991 V2, and two Numeric 480s which fall under the brand’s skateboarding line. Ronnie Fieg just dropped his newest Kith and Asics collab – two pairs of the Gel-Kayano 12.1. This mashup sneaker mixes the upper of the Gel-Kayano 12 with the tooling of the Gel-Nimbus 17, one pair in Cream and Pure Aqua, and the other as a nod to the New York Knicks. Earlier this week, Kith released their special collaboration with Madison Square Garden, dropping two colourways of the New Balance 990 V6. Inspired by the teams that call MSG home, the pair I’m reviewing today draw inspiration from the team colours of the NBA’s New York Knicks. This Made in USA pair features cream and grey base layers, along with the signature orange and blue that have made the Knicks one of the most recognizable sport franchises in the world.
