My latest Air Jordan 1 pickup is the women’s “Metallic Court Purple” pair that dropped last week! Inspired by the OG 1985 release, this pair incorporates a soft, tumbled leather, and slight variations compared to the original including a satin liner and a leather tongue. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Huarache is one of the most iconic silhouettes in Nike’s history, and definitely one of the most comfortable even to this day. Worn famously by MJ during the first half of the 1991-1992 NBA season, these feature a bold deep red nubuck upper with white leather overlays. One of the most anticipated shoes so far of 2021, the original “Neutral Grey” colourway of the Air Jordan 1 high finally returns tomorrow, February 10th. Last seen in 1985, these are crafted in the remastered “85” form, which Nike claims is a closer reproduction to the original Air Jordan 1 silhouette than its normal retro releases.
