One of the most anticipated running shoes from Nike finally landed north of the border, and my video has you covered. The Nike Pegasus Premium features three of the Swoosh’s top cushioning technologies – ZoomX, Air Zoom and ReactX, all working together to create one of the most well cushioned sneakers I’ve ever worn. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, A Ma Maniere is releasing the “While You Were Sleeping” collection, consisting of a collection of sneakers under the Nike / Jordan / Converse umbrella. The latest to release is this beautiful Air Jordan 4, which is crafted using a mix of smooth nubuck and hairy suede in a warm, tan tone. Tune into my video for an in-depth review!
Just five years after the last retro (that I also happened to review), the Nike Air Tech Challenge II is back in the original “Hot Lava” colourway, as part of Nike’s Cult Classics reissue program. Dropping today, these sold out quickly in North America, but I was lucky enough to find my size in store this morning. Check out my review for a closer look and to see how these are on feet!
For my latest video I’ll be reviewing this general release colourway of the Nike SB Dunk Low. Landing in skate shops throughout the last few weeks, these feature an upper crafted out of soft nubuck in blue, green and off-white tones. A gum rubber outsole completes the look, and it’s one of my fave GR Dunks to release over the last few months! Check out my video to learn more!
For my newest video I’m reviewing the upcoming New Balance 1906R “Polka Dot Pack”, which includes these two pairs in my video – the “Sea Salt” and “Phantom” colourways. These are done in inverted fashion with a dotted pattern incorporated onto the mesh base. Meanwhile, genuine leather covers the upper in a surprise, premium twist. Part of Nike’s World Make series, this pair of the Air Max 1 ’86 represents Korea, and is crafted using a unique mix of materials as a nod to this fashion hub. Featuring layers of tumbled leather, canvas and hemp-like textiles, these are an interesting spin on Nike’s “Big Bubble” version of the Air Max 1. Watch my review to learn more!
Nike SB’s latest Dunk release is this collaboration with beloved Mexican soda brand, Jarritos! These Dunk Lows feature a tearaway canvas upper, revealing a vibrant orange layer beneath. In addition, soft suede-like leather covers the base of the shoe along with a green textile Swoosh that can also be customized and removed. Ambush recently released their latest collaboration with Nike, on two colourways of the Air Force 1 Low. I picked up the “Phantom” colourway, which is crafted using premium leather, and features the familiar “Ambush touches” we’ve grown accustomed to, like the oversized TPU Swoosh, exposed tongue, and exaggerated heel counter.
