Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650R “Stuntman” Review

Joe Freshgoods’ latest project with New Balance saw the release of 500 pairs of the 650R model, imaging what it would have been like if Michael Jordan signed with New Balance instead of Nike back in 1984. This premium take on the 650R features a mix of tumbled leather and suede, in a vintage looking cream, grey and white mix. Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “Orange / Noise Aqua” (A Dictionary of Colour Combinations) Review

Inspired by the Japanese book, A Dictionary of Colour Combinations, this Nike SB Dunk Low features a vintage, aged looking suede upper in orange tones. blue and teal, along with a yellowed midsole and outsole. Releasing alongside another colourway in a similar theming, these released recently in skateshops which is where I picked these up from. What do you think of this pair – cop or drop?

SoleSavy “SS5” Review

SoleSavy’s fifth custom sneaker, the SS5, recently were offered to members, limited to only 100 individually numbered pairs. Philadelphia-based Garrixon Studios took soles from white-on-white Air Force 1s and rebuilt the uppers entirely from scratch using premium red coloured suedes and nubucks. Nike Air Max 1 ’86 Premium “Lost Sketch” Review

Nike released a brand new colourway of the “Big Bubble” version of the Air
Max 1 ’86, inspired by a lost sketch found in one of Tinker Hatfield’s notebooks. Utilizing safari print on the mudguard, these feature a mix of grey and blue tones, along with a vintage looking yellowed midsole. Check out my detailed review to learn more and to see how they look on feet!

Nike pays homage to their Co.JP line of sneakers from the late 90s / early 00s with the release of these Dunk Low Premiums! Nicknamed the “Brown Snakeskin” colourway, this beautifully crafted pair features a snakeskin-printed leather, aged suede, and debossed leather as well.
