Australian-based boutique, Up There, surprised the world with the sequel to their recently released “Natsukashii” Asics Gel-Kayano 12.1. French fashion brand, A.P.C. joined up with Asics to drop a collection inspired by tennis. Two colourways meant for off-the-court were part of it though, including this “White / Silver” Gel-Kayano 14. Watch my video for a thorough breakdown of this sneaker and to see how they are on feet. LA-based brand Gallery Dept continues their partnership with Asics, releasing a couple colourways of the mashup silhouette, the Gel-K1011. Dropping a few months ago, I caught a restock of my fave colourway – “White / Pure Silver”, which reminds me of the iconic Gundam robots. To celebrate the Kayano-line’s 30th anniversary, Asics released this mashup model, the Gel-Kayano Legacy, consisting of elements from 8 past Kayano silhouettes.
