Saucony Canada hooked me up with a pair of the Shadow 6000 from their recently released “Megabyte” collection. This shoe is inspired by retro computers from the 90s, with a grey and off-white colour tone which reminds me of those clunky plastic shelled computers from my childhood. Continuing with their triple collaborations, Sacai and Nike released another LDWaffle colourway, this time partnering up with Hong Kong-based label, Clot. Inspired by the look of the “Kiss of Death” Clot Air Max 1, these LDWaffles feature a translucent nylon upper, along with tan, orange, red and green accents. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Germany-based boutique 43einhalb is releasing a special collaboration with Adidas on the ZX 10000. The “Joint Path” colourway celebrates the various topographies and landscapes they’ve encountered throughout their decade long journey. These release globally through 43einhalb via raffle starting September 11th, so be sure to check out my review for a closer look!
New Balance recently released a trio of 550 colourways, headlined by my personal favourite, the Green colourway! Looking similar to the Aime Leon Dore collaboration from 2020, these adopt a similar colour scheme of smooth white leather, with suede overlays and green coloured hits throughout. Today I’m reviewing one of the most hyped releases of the year – the triple collaboration between Fragment Design, Travis Scott, and Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 1 High! Adopting a predominantly white-based colour scheme, hits of blue, black and sail provide some contrast on this colourway inspired by an unreleased sample Air Jordan 1 from 1985. The signature oversized reverse swoosh adorns the lateral side of the shoe, while logos of all three are visible throughout the shoe. Check out my review and let me know what you think!
