The original “Scream Green” Air Huarache, which debuted in 1991, is back! Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Huarache is one of the most iconic silhouettes in Nike’s history, and definitely one of the most comfortable even to this day. Dropping tomorrow, Saturday March 20, the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Georgetown” arrives in stores. Drawing this nickname for its similarities to the Georgetown Hoyas team colours, these Jordan 3s incorporate a navy blue tumbled leather upper, grey accents and the iconic elephant print. Originally released in 2007, the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 3 finally made its return when they released this past Saturday! Featuring a grey nubuck upper, with the signature elephant print, and hits of orange and red for contrast, these are one of my top releases so far in 2021. Originally released in 2000, the Stussy collab with Nike on the Air Huarache “Desert Oak” made its return 21 years later. Releasing alongside the “Dark Olive” colourway, these dropped just ahead of Valentine’s Day, and I managed to take a W at the Stussy Toronto store. Returning true to OG form, the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is set to return this Saturday, February 13th. Worn famously by MJ during the first half of the 1991-1992 NBA season, these feature a bold deep red nubuck upper with white leather overlays. One of the most anticipated shoes so far of 2021, the original “Neutral Grey” colourway of the Air Jordan 1 high finally returns tomorrow, February 10th. Last seen in 1985, these are crafted in the remastered “85” form, which Nike claims is a closer reproduction to the original Air Jordan 1 silhouette than its normal retro releases. The quintessential Adidas 80s basketball shoe has returned! The Forum 84 High was retroed in “OG” form in late December, featuring the signature white and blue look. Worn famously by Michael Jordan during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic trails, these were the Three Stripes’ marquee basketball sneaker of that era. Philippines-based boutique, Titan 22, teamed up with Jordan Brand to release their unique take on the Air Jordan 23. Replacing the traditional “MJ” embroidery with their signature logo’s lightning bolts, these are done in a clean black, gold and white colour scheme.
