The beloved “Linen” Air Force 1 Low is back! In 2001, these were a Japan-exclusive colourway that was since then only retroed once in limited form and released by Kith. But earlier this month Nike finally brought them back, satisfying sneakerheads and Air Force 1 fans worldwide. Just in time for summer, New Balance is dropping this new colourway of their 1000 model, in “Angora / Moonrock”. This general release features a muted yet multicolour look, with a cream midsole and black outsole to complete the look. As part of their Spring / Summer 2024 line, Wales Bonner teamed up with Adidas to release a collection of footwear and apparel, inspired by the legacy of East African runners. Today I’m reviewing a Samba from this collection, crafted out of nylon in the “Wonder Clay” colourway. Accompanied with premium leather and suede, accents of blue add some pop to this classic looking Samba colourway!
The original “Lightning” colourway of the Air Jordan 17 Low finally received its first retro, as Jordan Brand brought them back in late May just a few weeks ago. Staying true to what MJ wore in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game, it features a soft white leather, chrome detailing, and striking yellow along the TPU on the midsole. This women’s release is inspired by Scott’s high school colours of blue and yellow, and is built in a mix of tumbled leather, and smooth suede. Originally an Asia-exclusive colourway from 1996, the “Ivory Snake” Air Force 1 Low is seeing its second release in the last five years, as part of Nike’s Cult Classics program.
