Based off of the 2006 DMP 11s, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” later this week on December 9th. Replacing the nylon upper for a tumbled white leather instead, it otherwise remains fairly true to the original with glossy, black patent leather, gold coloured detailing, and a translucent outsole that made the Air Jordan 11 famous. The “Neutral Grey” Air Jordan 1 Low returned this past weekend after a mere two years since they last released. However, this version differentiates itself being an “85” release, meant to be crafted closer to how the Air Jordan 1 was done back in 1985. These feature a premium leather upper, grey suede overlays, and a vintage looking rubber cupsole to give it that old school look. Did anyone else cop a pair?
This OG colourway of the Air Jordan 12 is back after nearly 15 years since its last retro! The “Cherry” or White/Red Air Jordan 12 recently returned in all its glory, with a soft tumbled leather upper, pebbled red leather overlays, and that incredible Zoom Air that first debuted on an Air Jordan model back in ’97. The “Playoff” colourway features a black nubuck upper with white and red coloured accents, true to what MJ wore enroute to his third NBA Championship.
