A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand close off 2023 with one final collab, this time a two-shoe Air Jordan 5 pack nicknamed “Dawn” and “Dusk”. Today I’ll be reviewing the “Dusk” pair, which is crafted using a black nubuck upper, with vintage detailing, and burgundy coloured accents. Based off of the 2006 DMP 11s, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” later this week on December 9th. Replacing the nylon upper for a tumbled white leather instead, it otherwise remains fairly true to the original with glossy, black patent leather, gold coloured detailing, and a translucent outsole that made the Air Jordan 11 famous. This pair is mostly crafted in black tones, with a black nubuck upper, black leather, and the signature elephant print covering the toe and heels. The beloved Air Jordan 1 “Royal” is back, but with a twist. These “Reimagined” Royals are crafted using a plush blue suede, with black nubuck layers instead of the traditional leather. The “Neutral Grey” Air Jordan 1 Low returned this past weekend after a mere two years since they last released. However, this version differentiates itself being an “85” release, meant to be crafted closer to how the Air Jordan 1 was done back in 1985. These feature a premium leather upper, grey suede overlays, and a vintage looking rubber cupsole to give it that old school look. Did anyone else cop a pair?
This OG colourway of the Air Jordan 12 is back after nearly 15 years since its last retro! The “Cherry” or White/Red Air Jordan 12 recently returned in all its glory, with a soft tumbled leather upper, pebbled red leather overlays, and that incredible Zoom Air that first debuted on an Air Jordan model back in ’97. For today’s video I’m reviewing one of the latest Saucony Originals releases I’ve had my eye on. This Grid Shadow 2 is inspired by the Saucony Creek Marsh in Kutztown, PA. Opting for colours seen in nature, this is a great blend of solid materials and unique colours on a 90s runner. Check out my review to learn more!
This original 1993 colourway of the Air Jordan 8 has returned after its last retro which released a decade earlier. The “Playoff” colourway features a black nubuck upper with white and red coloured accents, true to what MJ wore enroute to his third NBA Championship.
