New Balance continues their push of the 1890 silhouette, with this upcoming collaboration with Stone Island. Releasing two colourways, today I’m reviewing the “Covert Green” pair, which is done in the quintessential Stone Island olive green colour. Built using ripstop nylon, TPU overlays and genuine suede, it’ll be curious to see how these sell when they release on June 4th! Is this a cop or a drop for you?
Shenzhen-based boutique, Costs, just launched their newest collaboration, this time with Saucony on the Kinvara 4 RE silhouette. Part of the “Infinite Galaxy” pack, this takes the archive running shoe model but updates it with premium materials like an iridescent Saucony logo on the side. Stone Island is following up on last years highly successful 574 Legacy collab with New Balance, dropping two new colourways this week. Releasing in “Light Green” and “Dark Green”, these feature a mix of ripstop, genuine suede, reflective panels and more. Releasing later this month, New Balance’s England factory is releasing this Urban Winter version of the New Balance 991. Nicknamed the “Reverse JJJJound” colourway, it features a mix of ripstop, pig suede and other synthetic layers in cream, tan and brown tones. Canadian streetwear brand, Raised by Wolves, is back with their second collaboration with Saucony in 2023. Inspired by the look of a wolf, the Grid Azura 2000 is built using a mix of genuine suedes, ripstop nylon, and reflective 3M layers reminiscent of a wolf’s teeth. Limited to only 100 pairs made, Jordan Brand recently unveiled this limited edition Air Jordan 1 that draws inspiration from The Prowler, from the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse film. Opting for the Utility Stash variant of the model, it features plush purple leather, black neoprene, and TPU-coated ripstop nylon pouches, for a stealth and tactical look.
