To celebrate the 2026 US Open, Nike dropped a limited edition colourway of the Air Tech Challenge II, inspired by the Nike Mag from the movie Back to the Future 2. This pair features a genuine leather upper, teal and orange accents, and an icy outsole (that I have a love/hate relationship with). Today I’m reviewing the triple collab between Asics, Invincible, and Hong Kong-based brand Madness on the Gel-Kayano 12.1. Dressed in a monotone “Vanilla” colour, it actually incorporates a myriad of materials that can’t be appreciated without looking at it up close. The Pharrell Williams and Adidas partnership adds to their incredible portfolio with the newest colourway of the Virginia Adistar Jellyfish, in “Crystal Sand”. These beauties recently released in August 2026, and incorporates the same exaggerated proportions, 3D overlays, and glow details that the model is known for – but in a beautiful beige, brown and pale blue coloured mix. After taking an L on the initial release, I’m finally able to give you guys my review of the debut “Mikročpske” colourway of the Action Bronson x New Balance 2811. This pair was a must have for many – with a chunky silhouette with colours inspired by European emergency and police vehicles. On my recent trip to NYC, I picked up this lowkey collab between New Balance and Aime Leon Dore on the Gator Run. Originally a turf training shoe from 1982, the brand has brought these back as a lifestyle model. This collab features top notch quality in a simplistic palette. Check out my review to learn more!
New Balance released a new model, the 2811, for Action Bronson exclusively. Following up on the debut “Mikročpske” colourway, a second pair was recently mysteriously being sold on the GOAT app for under retail. I picked one up to see how they were – and safe to say, I’m impressed. This colourway features genuine suede and leather, in cool tones contrasted against a black Abzorb midsole. 2026 saw the launch of the Asics Gel-NYC 2.0. This model adopts the upper of the Gel-1050, but incorporates a modernized tooling that provides incredible comfort.
