Stone Island x New Balance 1890 “Covert Green” Review

New Balance continues their push of the 1890 silhouette, with this upcoming collaboration with Stone Island. Releasing two colourways, today I’m reviewing the “Covert Green” pair, which is done in the quintessential Stone Island olive green colour. Built using ripstop nylon, TPU overlays and genuine suede, it’ll be curious to see how these sell when they release on June 4th! Is this a cop or a drop for you?

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Muni Fast Pass 2” Review

My latest Nike SB pickup is the “Muni Fast Pass” SB Dunk Low, which is the second colourway from this set that’s inspired by the San Francisco public transit system, Muni, and specifically the monthly pass design that was last seen over a decade ago. This pair combines bold yellow nubuck with turquoise, in a unique split fashion. Tune into the video for a full breakdown and to see how these look on feet!

Lapstone & Hammer x Asics Gel-Kayano 12.1 “The Spark” Review

One of the best Asics shoes to release this year is the Lapstone & Hammer collab, nicknamed “The Spark”. This take on the Gel-Kayano 12.1 is both simple but premium, with genuine leathers, canvas and suede used, along with a simple colour palette with a bit of pop. Carnival x Asics Gel-Kayano 12.1 “Phra Nakhon” Review

A few weeks back, Carnival, a boutique based out of Thailand, dropped a beautiful collab with Asics on the Gel-Kayano 12.1. This pair is inspired by the Phra Nakhon district of its capital city, Bangkok, and features a crochet-knit upper, a cement like spray-on midsole, and more. Nike SB x Air Force 1 “Light Orewood Brown” Review

Nike SB just dropped their altered take on the Air Force 1, making it a version suitable for skateboarding. This first colourway, “Light Orewood Brown”, features a suede upper, lowered footbed for increased ground feel, and the signature puffy SB tongue, all to make this more performance oriented. Unheardof x Adidas Adistar Control 5 “Cupcake” & “Cheeseburger” (Piggy Runner 2.0) Review

Cincinnati-based boutique Unheardof, released another incredible collaboration with Adidas earlier this March. The “Piggy Runner 2.0” comprises of four colourways of the Adistar Control 5, with each pair nicknamed after founder Phil Lipschutz’ childhood friends. Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Banned” (2026) Review

Nike twisted the truth, spinning the reality of rookie MJ being fined for rocking the Nike Air Ships into the ultimate marketing campaign for the Bred 1s. On May 2nd, Jordan Brand is dropping the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 in low top form for the first time, including similar touches seen on the 2011 high cuts like the glossy “X” and slogans.
