New Balance recently launched the 14th generation of one of their most popular running shoe lines – the 1080. Taking a similar approach to last year’s V13, it still features a breathable, flexible mesh upper, along with a beefy Fresh Foam X midsole which provides maximum cushioning and softness. Adidas recently launched a new silhouette called the Adizero Aruku, which draws inspiration from a 2000s Japan-exclusive running shoe called the Adizero PR. Featuring Swirlfoam technology in the midsole done in a motion-promoting rocker style, these are an incredbly dynamic feeling sneaker under foot. Recently, I scooped up this GR colourway on deep discount, with the brown tones of this sneaker making it a perfect accompaniment with a lot of fall outfits. Releasing earlier this month was the latest collab between Kith and New Balance. Dropping two pairs, this release consisted of a New Balance 1000, and the pair I’m reviewing today – the 990 V4. This “Moonrock” colourway features a dark beige mesh and suede upper, with cream accents and reflective detailing. And as always, it is made in New Balance’s USA factories. This “Ivory / Grey” colourway is built with a mix of mesh and genuine suede in beige and grey tones. Mimicking the look of the prototype version without the iconic “Wings” logo, this pair features quality leathers on the upper in the classic red, white and black make up. Shenzhen-based boutique, Costs, just launched their newest collaboration, this time with Saucony on the Kinvara 4 RE silhouette. Part of the “Infinite Galaxy” pack, this takes the archive running shoe model but updates it with premium materials like an iridescent Saucony logo on the side.
