Joe Freshgood’s latest New Balance project, “Prom to Paris”, features two monochromatic 990 V6s. Today, I’m reviewing one of the two, the “Paris Red” colourway which covers the entire sneaker with bold and striking shades of red in a mix of materials like genuine suede and mesh. For my latest review, I picked up a pair of the Hoka Restore TC, which is a recovery shoe that intrigued me with its unique design. Teddy Santis’ Season 6 collection of New Balance Made in USA is almost here. Today I’m giving you an early review of one of the debut pairs, the 990 V6 in “Castlerock / Moonrock”. New Balance’s newest variation on their 1906 model is here – the 1906A. This version takes the tradition components of the upper and warps them, like overhanging N-Lock straps, and panels that are seemingly coming off the shoe’s upper. Size? continued their rich history with New Balance with an exclusive colourway of the 860 V2 nicknamed “Bacon”. This pair which released last month, features tones of red, brown and cream, which surrounds the ultra comfortable 860 V2 silhouette. Concepts just released this special edition take on the New Balance 1906 called “Hours and Days”, which pays homage to its 2012 “SEAL” collab on the 999 model. Featuring a mesh base with a variety of overlays in different materials, textures and colours, these still channel the soul of the SEAL 999 even though it’s on a brand new silhouette over a decade later. To celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics, New Balance dropped a collection available only at their La Marais store in Paris. Included in this collection which was designed in part by artist Franck Pellegrino, was this 997. This Made in USA model features a unique blend of colours, and the typical quality materials that New Balance is known for.
