Before 2021 ends, I picked up another New Balance shoe. This time it’s the 1500 in the “Slate Blue / Grey” colourway. This made in England pair is incredibly crafted, with quality nubuck in a cool, simple combination of grey and blue tones. The original colourway of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 made its return today, but with a bit of a change. The “Beluga Reflective” looks pretty identical to the OG drop from 2016, but added to the upper are reflective threading to give the shoe an added pop! Today I’m reviewing the Nike Air Max 95 “Sakura”. Inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms, this pair opts for a canvas and suede construction, in clean tones of grey, white, black and red. London-based sneaker brand, Notwoways (co-founded by YouTuber Callux), released their final drop of 2021, nicknamed “Apricity”. Adopting a similiar colour scheme as their debut release, “Exuberance” from 2020, the white, black and ice blue tones are seen once again. This chunky runner features premium materials including smooth leather, and a chunky recycled Phylon foam midsole for comfort. Let me know how you feel about these down below!

Boston-based boutique, Concepts, teamed up with New Balance last month to drop a Kiwi-inspired 992. Paying homage to the “Kiwi Queen”, Frieda Rappaport Caplan, this 992 features a hairy suede upper, with neon green hits throughout resembling the look of the tropical fruit. I recently hit up a New Balance sample sale and came away with these “Glow in the Dark” Made in UK 920s! Supposedly set to drop in a pack alongside other models like the 1500, these 920s are constructed out of silver leather and mesh, black nubuck overlays, and glow in the dark accents on the outsole and upper.
