My fave from the Nike Sportswear Recycled Canvas pack, my latest review covers the Air Max 90! Constructed out of recycled canvas, foam and leather, these shoes contain approximately 20% reused materials. Beyond that though, they are a beautiful colourway that I was very excited for. Pharrell Williams’ Hu NMD recently returned after a brief hiatus with the “Extra Eye” colourway! Bringing back the OG sole instead of the trail version we’ve been seeing a lot more in recent releases, these incorporate a three-tone Primeknit upper, a thick Boost midsole and the usual PW x Adidas branding throughout. The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 returned with the all-new “Carbon” colourway. This version incorporates a predominantly black coloured Primeknit upper, atop a thick Boost midsole for cushioning along with the typical Yeezy finishes. Releasing this past weekend, the Air Jordan 13 landed in stores in the “Lucky Green” colourway. Drawing similarities to the Ray Allen PE version from 2011, these incorporate tumbled white leather with hits of black and vibrant green to round out the look. Union and Jordan Brand returned for a second collab, this time on the Air Jordan 4! StockX hooked me up with the “Off Noir” colourway which I’m covering in my latest review! Done in a vintage look, these incorporate a few changes to the traditional look of the Jordan 4 including a stitched down tongue that had the sneaker world in a frenzy, for both good and bad reasons. Inspired by the renowned Air Max 1 “Lemonade” from the 2006 Powerwall collection, the “Limeade” Air Max 1 dropped last week in a similar design, but reversing the green and yellow hits on the shoe. Though they still sold out on the drop day, this is much more of a niche release, for those who really appreciate the Air Max 1 and its history.
