After being named last year as New Balance Made In USA’s Creative Director, Teddy Santis (of Aime Leon Dore) dropped another pair from his 16-pair collection earlier this week. Nike brought back one of their most iconic shoes from the archives with the recent release of the Air Trainer 1 in its OG colourway, “Chlorophyll”. Originating in 1987 and designed by Tinker Hatfield, this do-it-all sneaker was used at the gym, on the court, and for any other reason you needed it for. After passing on these, due to popular demand, I’m finally reviewing a New Balance 993 model. This one is a collaboration with Aime Leon Dore which dropped originally late last year but saw a wider release earlier this year. This “Taupe” colourway is a Made in USA sneaker featuring a mix of mesh, suede and nubuck in a very unique mix of colours.
