Continuing Jordan Brand’s Reimagined series is the upcoming release of the “Bred” Air Jordan 4. Swapping the durabuck for a plush leather instead, the shape is also tweaked to be closer to the original 1989 shape with improved comfort and fit. Today I’m reviewing the “Sage White” colourway, which is crafted using ripstop nylon and synthetic layers in tonal grey shades. Last year, Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. To close out the year, they released two new colourways on Christmas Day, one in White / Black, and the other a Multicoloured pair. Following the protro release of the original “Grinch” Nike Kobe 6 in 2021, Nike Basketball followed it up with a “Reverse Grinch” colourway that released last week. Swapping the original colours, the signature green upper is now red, while red accents and laces are now a vibrant electric green shade. A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand close off 2023 with one final collab, this time a two-shoe Air Jordan 5 pack nicknamed “Dawn” and “Dusk”. Today I’ll be reviewing the “Dusk” pair, which is crafted using a black nubuck upper, with vintage detailing, and burgundy coloured accents. Continuing on with releasing 2.0 versions of iconic Air Max 1s, Nike recently brought back the “Keep Rippin, Stop Slippin” Air Max 1, originally from 2008. Looking totally different from the OGs, this 2.0 version features hairy black suede, smooth leather, and deep red coloured hits on the lining and embroidery. Is this a worthy sequel to the ’08 classic? Leave your thoughts below!
