Earlier this week, Kith released their special collaboration with Madison Square Garden, dropping two colourways of the New Balance 990 V6. Inspired by the teams that call MSG home, the pair I’m reviewing today draw inspiration from the team colours of the NBA’s New York Knicks. This Made in USA pair features cream and grey base layers, along with the signature orange and blue that have made the Knicks one of the most recognizable sport franchises in the world. The beloved Air Jordan 1 “Royal” is back, but with a twist. These “Reimagined” Royals are crafted using a plush blue suede, with black nubuck layers instead of the traditional leather. Colour Plus Companie released the final shoe in the three-shoe Grid Shadow 2 pack with Saucony. Inspired by arctic terrain, this shoe takes a 90s performance running shoe and turns it into more of a trail running shoe with its material and colour choices. This OG colourway of the Air Jordan 12 is back after nearly 15 years since its last retro! The “Cherry” or White/Red Air Jordan 12 recently returned in all its glory, with a soft tumbled leather upper, pebbled red leather overlays, and that incredible Zoom Air that first debuted on an Air Jordan model back in ’97. The Size? x New Balance “Diamond District Pack” of 1906Rs released today, and I’ll be reviewing the “Green” colourway. This pair draws inspiration from vintage luxury watches, swapping out the traditional materials for more premium materials. Season 4 of Teddy Santis’ Made in USA New Balance line kicked off with these killer 990 V4s in this “Olive / Incense” colourway. These beauties feature pig suede in a beautiful faded green tone, with beige and brown hits throughout making it perfect for the fall season. Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. Sold out quickly, and then offered up again as a pre-order earlier this year, I finally got my hands on the pair I ordered – the “Summit White” colourway.
