Montreal-based design studio, JJJJound, dropped their second collection of Asics Gel-Kayano 14s last week, with a “Baby Blue” and “Midnight Navy” colourway each selling out quick. I picked up my first ever pair of the Asics Gel-Nunobiki, with this pair being part of the 6-pair collection released in collaboration with Kith. This “Delicioso / Pure Silver” colourway features a matcha-like green synthetic upper along with brown mesh and silver accents. I’m back with another review of the New Balance Abzorb 2010. This colourway released as part of the brand’s Grey Day collection and it features a mix of mesh, soft nubuck and suede, and reflective detailing. Nike’s Zoom Field Jaxx for Travis Scott released in a new colourway a few weeks ago. This “Pale Ivory / Leche Blue” pair features a suede and textile upper in a unique mix of colours, along with design cues taken from the Nike Land Shark and Zoom Spiridon. The Jordan Brand Rare Air series continues with the release of these Air Jordan 3s. Inspired by samples and prototypes that don’t make the cut, these are share similarities to the “Black Cement” Air Jordan 3 but incorporate purposely placed “imperfections” like a flipped back tab, and suede instead of elephant print. Ronnie Fieg is tapping into this brand new New Balance silhouette, the Abzorb 2010, releasing two colourways this coming Monday, May 19th. The one I’m reviewing is the beautiful “Purple” colourway, which features a mix of purple mesh, pig suede and synthetic nubuck layers. Releasing in time for the RunDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend event, Brooks dropped a four shoe pack, headlined (in my opinion) by the Mickey Mouse themed “Ghost Max 2”. Action Bronson and New Balance followed up on the “Untitled” 990 V6 with their fourth 990 V6 collaboration called “Amazonia”. The latest in Jordan Brand’s “Reimagined” series is this vintage take on the “UNC” Air Jordan 1.
