One of 2024’s biggest New Balance collabs finally landed in Canada and today I’m reviewing one of the two colourways of the 990 V4 that Auralee collaborated on! The “Trooper” colourway is dressed in various shades of blue in premium suedes, mesh and reflective layers. Tune into my review to get my thoughts on these and to see how they are on feet. SoleSavy’s fourth custom silhouette, the SS4, just dropped in a brand new colourway for 2025. Nicknamed “Shadow Split”, it’s use of white and black tones in a wide variety of materials results in an intricate but wearable colourway for every day wear. This understated colourway features brown mesh, grey synthetic overlays, and neon hits throughout. First released in 2007, the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 3 has finally returned. This black-out colourway features a nubuck upper, shiny patent leather layers, and the signature elephant print but also turned all-black. Given the popularity of the “Black Cat” 4s, it’ll be interesting to see how these fare in today’s sneaker climate! Is anyone picking these up?
