The first Kobe sneaker to release following his untimely passing, the Kobe 5 Protro “Big Stage / Parade” kicked off Mamba Week with a limited drop this past week. Done in a split fashion, one side is inspired by the Big Stage colourway from 2010, and the other taking tattoo-like graphics from the Parade PE colourway. My newest pickup is the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 “Mag”! This futuristic self-lacing basketball sneaker is dressed in the colours of the iconic Nike Mag from the Back to the Future II movie and feature added Zoom Air Turbo in the forefoot, and a redesigned look from the original 1.0 model from 2019. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Sashiko” dropped in early August as a Europe and Asia only release. Inspired by the Japanese reinforcement stitching technique, these replace the traditional swoosh with one formed through a embroidered design.
