Air Jordan 3 Retro “Black Cat” (2025) Review

First released in 2007, the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 3 has finally returned. This black-out colourway features a nubuck upper, shiny patent leather layers, and the signature elephant print but also turned all-black. Given the popularity of the “Black Cat” 4s, it’ll be interesting to see how these fare in today’s sneaker climate! Is anyone picking these up?

Kith x Salomon XT-4K “Bright White / Fiery Red” Review

I’m ringing in the new year with a review of a brand I’ve yet to cover – Salomon. Last week, Kith dropped a 3-pair collaboration, including this white-based XT-4K model that I’m reviewing today. Concepts x Asics Gel-Kayano 14 “Out of Office” Review

Even though summer is over, Concepts’ latest collaboration with Asics gives us that reminder of warmer days gone by. This “Out of Office” colourway of the Gel-Kayano 14 features tropical tones of cream, red and neon green, dressing up this popular runner as if its on vacation. Air Jordan 3 Retro “Black Cement” (2024) Review

Six years since they last retroed, Jordan Brand has brought back the iconic “Black Cement” colourway of the Air Jordan 3. This original colourway from ’88 features a cut that’s more streamlined and similar to the OGs than in years past. It’s crafted using a soft black leather with elephant print and hits of red to complete the look. Check out my early review and let me know if you plan on picking up a pair this weekend!

HAL Studios x Asics Gel-Kayano 20 “Malt” Review

Australia’s HAL Studios’ latest Asics collab gave the Gel-Kayano 20 a twist. Replacing the traditional lacing with three velcro straps, these feature a fall/winter colour palette in tones of brown, black and red. Kith x Asics Gel-Nimbus 10.1 “White / Morganite” Review

As part of Kith’s Winter ’24 line, they dropped a couple of Asics collaborations, including the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 that I’m reviewing today. This pair features white mesh, with silver synthetic leather and TPU overlays resulting in a dark, winteresque vibe. The upper of this shoe is also paired with the tooling of the Gel-Kayano 14, resulting in a familiar but still new fusion. Costs x Saucony Kinvara 4 RE “Meteorite Sand” Review

Shenzhen-based boutique, Costs, is set to release their follow up collab with Saucony, again with a Kinvara 4 RE silhouette. This “Meterorite Sand” colourway brushes the entire shoe with a clay-like, red toned finish, while pairing the synthetic layers with premium nubuck, and an iridescent Saucony logo on the side. JJJJound x Asics GT-2160 “White / Black” Review

Montreal-based design studio, JJJJound, is known for their minimalistic takes and the same holds true in their latest collaboration with Asics.
