Canadian abstract artist, Callen Schaub, just launched his first ever collaboration with Saucony. Releasing two pairs on May 6th, today I’m reviewing one of the two – the Shadow 6000. Taking the 1991 retro runner, this colourway is crafted using smooth white leather and black mesh and suede. However it infuses Schaub’s artwork onto the side panels for an overall muted but still unique look. Huge thanks to Saucony Canada for sending over these!

Saucony Canada hooked me up with a pair of the Shadow 6000 from their recently released “Megabyte” collection. This shoe is inspired by retro computers from the 90s, with a grey and off-white colour tone which reminds me of those clunky plastic shelled computers from my childhood. A familiar colourway returns with a twist! The Air Jordan 1 released this past Saturday in the “Shadow 2.0” colourway. Drawing similarities to the OG Shadows from 1985, this one flips the colour blocking with a black leather base with overlays of grey nubuck, in the “Chicago” colour block style.
