Inspired by the Japanese reinforcement stitching technique, these replace the traditional swoosh with one formed through a embroidered design. Combining two of Adidas’ best – the Ultra4D debuted this week, incorporating the Ultra Boost 1.0 upper with the futuristic 4D sole. Done in a black and purple based colourway as a nod to the first ever colour of the Ultra Boost, these are a long overdue release that a lot of Adidas fans have been anticipating for a while. This coming Saturday, August 15th, the Jordan 5 returns in an all-new “Alternate Bel-Air” colourway. The unofficial sequel to the 2013 release, these incorporate a white leather based upper with patterns and colours reminiscent of the 90s. Last week, Jordan Brand released their latest women’s Air Jordan 1, this time nicknamed the “Satin Snake”. Taking the classic red, white and black colour scheme, they include a satin and faux snake skin leather twist to make these surely stand out. Originally releasing in 2001 as a Japan-exclusive that was limited to 2001 pairs, the Air Jordan 1 High CO.JP “Tokyo” re-released yesterday as a much wider general release nineteen years later. Done in a silver and grey colourway, these include slight changes to the standard Jordan 1 build including a jeweled Wings logo, and a leather tongue. Check out my review to see more!
Kicking off the Adidas A-ZX collection, which celebrates the ZX line with 26 unique releases – the ZX 1000 returns for the first time since its inital release in the late 80s. This retro runner is done in cream tones with hits of bright blue, and represents the letter “R” in the A-ZX collection for its retro vibes. Today I’m reviewing the Nike SB Dunk High Pro in the “Team Crimson” colourway. Nicknamed “Phillies Blunt”, these are reminiscent of the cigar brand’s packaging, with sail-coloured suede, a crimson swoosh, and wheat-coloured accents. Though not carrying much hype as many other Dunk releases this year, these are a fire pair! Check out my video to learn more!
