Inspired by the Gary Payton PEs worn during his time as a LA Laker, Jordan Brand released the “University Gold” Air Jordan 12 this past weekend. Done in a simple black and yellow colour blocking, these are the first time we’ve seen anything like these drop to the public, and it makes sense they pretty much all sold out on release day. Nice Kicks recently joined forces with Reebok to release these ACG / Trail inspired Question Mids, nicknamed “Bubba Chuck” for Iverson’s nickname. Based off of AI’s love for fishing, these have a very outdoorsy look to them, and are covered in a variety of materials and colours that somehow work when put all together. Releasing in mid-July, the Air Jordan 1 High returned in the “Light Smoke Grey” colourway. Drawing comparisons to the “Black Toe” Union Jordan 1 for its split-coloured upper, these incorporate a neutral-toned base with a splash of red leather on the upper collar area.
