To celebrate the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, the Air Jordan 1 is back this time adopting the iconic colours of the Charlotte Hornets. In celebration of Chinese New Year, author, chef, and TV producer, Eddie Huang teamed up with Adidas to release a special edition Ultra Boost model. Draped in all red with hits of gold, colours synonymous with Chinese culture, these were a must-cop for me, not only because of my own heritage but because they simply are, in my opinion, one of the dopest Ultra Boosts to drop in a long while! BAPE and Adidas dropped a huge football-inspired collection this past Saturday, and headlining the release were the camo Ultra Boosts in the head-turning “Green” colourway! Selling out instantly, these featuring a BAPE-Camo Primeknit upper with BAPE detailing found throughout the shoe.
