Just five years after the last retro (that I also happened to review), the Nike Air Tech Challenge II is back in the original “Hot Lava” colourway, as part of Nike’s Cult Classics reissue program. Today I’m back with another Air Jordan 4 review – this time, a variant on the popular “Thunder” colourway, nicknamed “White Thunder”. These are crafted out of black nubuck, with white accents throughout the shoe, and of course Nike Air technology within the midsole. Celebrating Toronto’s diversity and multicultural make up, these feature a mix of materials like leather, nylon and 3M, in familiar skyline (and Blue Jays) colours of white, blue and red. Joe Freshgood’s latest New Balance project, “Prom to Paris”, features two monochromatic 990 V6s. Today, I’m reviewing one of the two, the “Paris Red” colourway which covers the entire sneaker with bold and striking shades of red in a mix of materials like genuine suede and mesh. For my latest review, I picked up a pair of the Hoka Restore TC, which is a recovery shoe that intrigued me with its unique design. Teddy Santis’ Season 6 collection of New Balance Made in USA is almost here. Today I’m giving you an early review of one of the debut pairs, the 990 V6 in “Castlerock / Moonrock”. New Balance’s newest variation on their 1906 model is here – the 1906A. This version takes the tradition components of the upper and warps them, like overhanging N-Lock straps, and panels that are seemingly coming off the shoe’s upper.
