Today I’ll be reviewing the “Hornet Tusk” pair, which incorporates more premium materials like genuine white leather and golden yellow suede. The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 “Calm Be The Crater” is the duo’s latest project together. This Made in USA pair features vibrant colours inspired by Oregon’s Crater Lake – with bold blue mesh, hairy suede, and reflective green panels throughout. Earlier this month, BAPE and Adidas partnered up again to drop their take on the Adistar HRMY (pronounced “Harmony”). This mashup silhouette takes a 2000 Adidas running shoe with the tooling from the Adidas BYD, blending old school with new technology. Adidas and Australian-based boutique, Up There, teamed up to release a new silhouette honouring their home city of Melbourne. The Adidas Melbourne features a white mesh base, with suede and leather overlays which are inspired by a track spike worn during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Introducing Nike Mind tech, today I’m reviewing the Mind 001, a mule meant for pre and post athletic activity with foam nodes underfoot that are meant to hit pressure points on the wearer’s foot to promote focus, calm, and mindfulness.
