Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance’s latest collab saw the release of three colourways of the 1000 silhouette. Releasing in black, grey and this one – the “Pristine” or White colourway, they feature a mix of genuine leathers, synthetic overlays and reflective panels. Stone Island is following up on last years highly successful 574 Legacy collab with New Balance, dropping two new colourways this week. Releasing in “Light Green” and “Dark Green”, these feature a mix of ripstop, genuine suede, reflective panels and more. As part of their Spring / Summer 2024 line, Wales Bonner teamed up with Adidas to release a collection of footwear and apparel, inspired by the legacy of East African runners. Today I’m reviewing a Samba from this collection, crafted out of nylon in the “Wonder Clay” colourway. Accompanied with premium leather and suede, accents of blue add some pop to this classic looking Samba colourway!
The original “Lightning” colourway of the Air Jordan 17 Low finally received its first retro, as Jordan Brand brought them back in late May just a few weeks ago. Staying true to what MJ wore in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game, it features a soft white leather, chrome detailing, and striking yellow along the TPU on the midsole. Releasing on May 30th is a brand new colourway of the New Balance 993. Named “Sea Salt / Black”, this versatile colourway is built in a mix of white mesh, cream suede, and black overlays. Capitalizing on the popularity of the silhouette, Nike recently released this special edition version of their Zoom Vomero 5 model. Releasing in womens sizing, this pair incorporates throwback Nike design details and swaps out the typical synthetic materials for genuine leathers and suedes. Travis Scott and Jordan Brand returned today with a brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. This women’s release is inspired by Scott’s high school colours of blue and yellow, and is built in a mix of tumbled leather, and smooth suede. Earlier this week, J Balvin released his fourth collaboration with Jordan Brand, and second on the Air Jordan 3. This “Rio” pair is named after his son, and is crafted using a black leather upper, darkened elephant print panels, and the same gradient look on the midsole and heel that was also used in his previous Air Jordan 3 collab.
