This 2004 Japan-exclusive Air Max 1 is back, with a twist. The “Urawa” colourway pays homage to J League football club, the Urawa Dragons (or Red Diamonds). This original 1993 colourway of the Air Jordan 8 has returned after its last retro which released a decade earlier. The “Playoff” colourway features a black nubuck upper with white and red coloured accents, true to what MJ wore enroute to his third NBA Championship. This vibrant, modern take on this 1980s silhouette features a mix of hairy suede and flat nubuck in a “light menta” colourway. To celebrate the Kayano-line’s 30th anniversary, Asics released this mashup model, the Gel-Kayano Legacy, consisting of elements from 8 past Kayano silhouettes. Today I’m reviewing the “Marshmallow” colourway which was available at Kith stores as well as Kith’s website.
