The Jordan Brand Rare Air series continues with the release of these Air Jordan 3s. Inspired by samples and prototypes that don’t make the cut, these are share similarities to the “Black Cement” Air Jordan 3 but incorporate purposely placed “imperfections” like a flipped back tab, and suede instead of elephant print. Ronnie Fieg is tapping into this brand new New Balance silhouette, the Abzorb 2010, releasing two colourways this coming Monday, May 19th. The one I’m reviewing is the beautiful “Purple” colourway, which features a mix of purple mesh, pig suede and synthetic nubuck layers. Releasing in time for the RunDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend event, Brooks dropped a four shoe pack, headlined (in my opinion) by the Mickey Mouse themed “Ghost Max 2”. French fashion brand, A.P.C. joined up with Asics to drop a collection inspired by tennis. Jae Tips dropped his fifth project with Saucony, releasing his unique spin on the early 2000s model, the Grid Jazz 9. Called “I Love You But I’m Busy”, this colourful spin on a Saucony “dad shoe” incorporates premium materials and exception comfort.
