A few weeks ago, New Balance dropped a limited edition 991 in collaboration with Paperboy Paris and La MJC, coinciding with the launch of the 2021 edition of All Gone. Released through the in-store book launch by way of a “magic card” that was hidden in selected books randomly, these feature a white mesh, pink and tan suede combination. I recently hit on a random restock of last year’s “Royalty” Air Jordan 12 release. LaMelo Ball’s debut signature sneaker with Puma dropped last month and sold out worldwide. The MB.01’s first drop was done in an all-red finish, featuring an embroidered engineered knit upper, Puma’s Nitro Foam cushioning, and various nods on the shoe that are inspired by Ball’s tattoos. My latest New Balance pickup is a model that doesn’t normally get as much shine – the 1700. Dressed in the classic “Japan” colours of olive grey and blue, the 1700 is a model popular out East in Japan, and released late last year here in North America in the iconic colours first seen on the M1300JP.
