As part of Kith’s Winter ’24 line, they dropped a couple of Asics collaborations, including the Gel-Kayano 12.1 that I’m reviewing today. This pair features cream mesh, with translucent TPU layers in a pale mint tone. The upper of this shoe is also paired with the tooling of the Gel-Nimbus 17, resulting in a mashup that is refreshingly new but still works. Supreme recently released another collaboration with Nike Skateboarding, featuring both a Dunk Low and High, inspired by the work of the late NY-based artist, Rammellzee. Featuring his artwork printed on canvas layers, the shoe is accented with bold, black suede throughout and a gum rubber outsole. As 2020 winds to a close, I managed to pickup another huge Nike Dunk release! This time I’m reviewing the Sean Cliver “Holiday Special” SB Dunk Low! This festive pair is one of the year’s best, with a white leather upper, blue suede hits and gold accents to round out the design. The all-new New Balance 920 has arrived! This brand new silhouette is part of their Made in England line, and combines elements from the 900 and 1000 series of shoes in its design. Mesh, nubuck and suede construction on the upper is complemented by a comfortable midsole with Encap technology. Concepts and Nike SB served up another round of lobsters for fans worldwide with the drop of the “Voltage Purple” SB Dunk Low QS! Dressed in a bold purple with hits of white and black to round it out, these continued the recent resurgence of SB Dunks and were a shoe I personally needed to grab for my own.
