The Nike ACG Izy originally released in the late 90s but finally received its first retro treatment with the release a couple months ago. In Jordan Brand tradition, to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, they’re releasing a special edition Air Jordan 1 Low OG. This “Year of the Snake” colourway pairs smooth white and grey leather with ripstop nylon (reminiscent of snakeskin) and iridescent accents. New Balance and JJJJound released their newest interpretation of the 2002R silhouette, once again made for the winter weather with Gore-Tex! Featuring a water resistant upper, rubber side walls, an aggressive traction pattern, and more – these keep the spirit of the popular Vomero 5 while making it wearable in snowy and wet weather. In today’s video I’m reviewing a shoe I picked up on discount – the New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080 Utility in “Arctic Grey”. This Utility version is extremely similar to the normal 1080 V13, but features genuine suede throughout the shoe and is dressed in a tonal look – all done up in a beautiful grey-blue shade. As part of Kith’s Winter ’24 line, they dropped a couple of Asics collaborations, including the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 that I’m reviewing today. This pair features white mesh, with silver synthetic leather and TPU overlays resulting in a dark, winteresque vibe. The upper of this shoe is also paired with the tooling of the Gel-Kayano 14, resulting in a familiar but still new fusion.
