Back in the summer of 2025, the NikeCraft x ISRU app gave users the opportunity to take part in their “summer camp” to earn points, which were eventually used as the criteria for access to the Mars Yard 3.0 release. Those who missed out on those shoes were given the ability to pre-order this special colourway of the General Purpose Shoe, and I finally got them in hand this week. Concepts’ latest project with New Balance is a banger. The 990 V4 “Patina” draws inspiration from the idea of antiques, and heirlooms being passed down, and how things get better with age. This pair features great quality suede, and a colour palette that is elegant and beautiful. Watch my review as I cover all you need to know. I don’t think this is a pair you’d want to pass on.
Joe Freshgoods returns with a New Balance collaboration with his offshoot Every Now and Then retailer / community hub. This take on the 992 model is one of the year’s best, with a mint green suede paired with a gum rubber outsole. I’m stoked to have been able to grab these off their website directly, and hope to cover all the details you need to know in my vid!
Saucony dipped into their archives once again, bringing back the 2008 model, the Progrid Ride 1. This pair was a neutral running shoe back in the day but nowadays, it’s being reintroduced as a lifestyle model. A lightweight mesh upper is paired with Progrid and SRC foam for exceptional comfort. Kith celebrates their 15th anniversary by joining up with New Balance to drop a brand new model – the 2011. This pair was part of a launch collection of four colourways, designed by Ronnie Fieg and NB’s Sam Pearce. It’s built using a mix of premium suedes and nubucks, and is covered in various green shades – a perfect tie in to the launch campaign centered around Kith’s growth over the last fifteen years. The Progrid Paramount was launched in ’07 as a performance runner – but Saucony has brought it back in 2026 as a lifestyle model. This particular pair is a joint project with A-Feeling, coming from the mind of Drew_Bar (formerly of Bodega). Check out this gorgeous colourway and learn more about this model – as I’m sure Saucony will be launching a ton of colourways throughout the year!
With the 2026 World Cup underway, Nike dropped a massive seven nation collection headlined by their Cryoshot shoes, which took legendary football cleats and turned them into everyday wearable shoes by encasing them in clear TPU casing. Earlier this month, Jordan Brand released a new colourway of the Air Jordan 1 Low. This pair mixes nubuck with cracked leather, along with a textured green Swoosh and a gum rubber outsole to complete the look. Though they’re not hyped, it’s still a well done pair that surprisingly features good materials for its price. Check out my review for a complete breakdown!
