Nike’s annual “NY vs. NY” collection is back to celebrate the city’s basketball tournament. This year, one of the drops which I’m reviewing today is this Air Force 1 Low, which is crafted out of white leather, with a gradient style Swoosh, and icy blue outsole. Edison Chen and his Clot label recently dropped this unique spin on the classic Adidas Gazelle. This version opts for a woven textile upper, incorporates glass beads which form the Adidas Three Stripes, along with an espadrille style outsole. Action Bronson and New Balance have linked up again to release three colourways of the 1906R. Kickstarting the trio, releasing on May 31st was the “Rosewater” colourway, which is crafted using mesh, with TPU overlays, and magenta, blue and orange accents. Stone Island is following up on last years highly successful 574 Legacy collab with New Balance, dropping two new colourways this week. Releasing in “Light Green” and “Dark Green”, these feature a mix of ripstop, genuine suede, reflective panels and more. As part of their Spring / Summer 2024 line, Wales Bonner teamed up with Adidas to release a collection of footwear and apparel, inspired by the legacy of East African runners. Today I’m reviewing a Samba from this collection, crafted out of nylon in the “Wonder Clay” colourway. Accompanied with premium leather and suede, accents of blue add some pop to this classic looking Samba colourway!
The original “Lightning” colourway of the Air Jordan 17 Low finally received its first retro, as Jordan Brand brought them back in late May just a few weeks ago. Staying true to what MJ wore in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game, it features a soft white leather, chrome detailing, and striking yellow along the TPU on the midsole.
