This pair draws inspiration from vintage luxury watches, swapping out the traditional materials for more premium materials. Today I’ll be reviewing the Asics GT-2160 “Kogarashi”, which was interestingly a pair designed by “Tomo Accounts” (or friends) of Asics, including End Clothing, Sneakersnstuff, Slam Jam, and Naked. Kogarashi refers to when summer meets winter, so this shoe features a mix of warm and cool tones that somehow mesh well together cohesively. Check out my video and let me know what you think!
Season 4 of Teddy Santis’ Made in USA New Balance line kicked off with these killer 990 V4s in this “Olive / Incense” colourway. These beauties feature pig suede in a beautiful faded green tone, with beige and brown hits throughout making it perfect for the fall season. Playstation Canada hooked me up with a pair of the recently released Adidas 4D in collaboration with Marvel, to celebrate the launch of the new Spider-Man 2 video game by Insomniac Studios and Sony. Featuring a red Primeknit upper, blue overlays and white stripes (as a nod to Spider-Man’s advanced suit), the 4D midsole represents the Venom symbiote taking over Peter’s costume. I recently picked up a pair of the New Balance 990 V6 “Sulphur” on sale, which had previously been sitting on store shelves for weeks. This Made in USA pair, part of Teddy Santis’ Season 3 collection, features a mix of pale yellow mesh and pig suede, along with bold green accents with the New Balance “N” logo and tongue.
