In today’s video I’ll be reviewing this general release colourway of the Asics Gel-1130. The “Cream / Kale” colourway features a cream mesh base layer, and silver and green coloured overlays. Part of Nike’s World Make series, this pair of the Air Max 1 ’86 represents Korea, and is crafted using a unique mix of materials as a nod to this fashion hub. Featuring layers of tumbled leather, canvas and hemp-like textiles, these are an interesting spin on Nike’s “Big Bubble” version of the Air Max 1. Watch my review to learn more!
To celebrate the Kayano-line’s 30th anniversary, Asics released this mashup model, the Gel-Kayano Legacy, consisting of elements from 8 past Kayano silhouettes. Today I’m reviewing the “Marshmallow” colourway which was available at Kith stores as well as Kith’s website. Joe Freshgoods’ latest project with New Balance saw the release of 500 pairs of the 650R model, imaging what it would have been like if Michael Jordan signed with New Balance instead of Nike back in 1984. This premium take on the 650R features a mix of tumbled leather and suede, in a vintage looking cream, grey and white mix. Check out my review and let me know if you think this is just hype, or heat.
Releasing back in 2011, Nike has brought back the Zoom KD 3, the third signature sneaker for Kevin Durant. This brand new colourway is inspired by the look of money, featuring a mix of grey leather, copper, blue and green accents. Releasing a couple months ago as a Kith in-store exclusive, the Asics GT-2160 dropped in two Kith-exclusive colourways, including this one in “Cream / Solar Power”. This 2011-performance running shoe is now back as one of Asics’ mainstream lifestyle sneakers, featuring a mix of cream coloured mesh and synthetic silver and yellow coloured overlays.
