Dropping a few weeks back to celebrate the NBA All-Star Game was the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Sail”. This special edition release replaces the snake scales on the lateral side with showtime stars, paying homage to basketball fans’ favourite February event. Asics just dropped this beautiful general release colourway of the Gel-Kayano 20. The “Blue Neptune” pair features a bright blue upper with black and purple detailing, along with neon Gel pods on the midsole. The first colourway to drop in Canada is this bold “Hyper Pink” colourway, and it completely covers the mesh-based upper. LA-based brand Gallery Dept continues their partnership with Asics, releasing a couple colourways of the mashup silhouette, the Gel-K1011. Dropping a few months ago, I caught a restock of my fave colourway – “White / Pure Silver”, which reminds me of the iconic Gundam robots.
