Nike Air Zoom Generation “Dark Grey / Wolf Grey” Review
2023 marks the twentieth anniversary of LeBron James’ first ever signature sneaker by Nike – the Air Zoom Generation. Releasing earlier this month was this greyscale version, opting for more premium materials with a mix of buttery suede and nubuck. Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Mambacita” (Gigi) Review
Nike recently brought back the Kobe 4 Protro to honour what would have been Gigi Bryant’s 17th birthday. This “Mambacita” colourway is dressed in a simple white and black make up, with subtle hits of gold and red to honour the late Laker Legend’s late daughter. Nike Air Max 1 Slide “White / University Red” & “White / Black” Review
Nike recently released a couple of slides, inspired by the look of the iconic Air Max 1. Releasing in two colourways, I picked up both to review, each crafted using a mix of mesh, suede, foam, and of course, the signature visible Air bubble on the heel. Air Jordan 4 Retro “Thunder” (2023) Review
The beloved “Thunder” Air Jordan 4 is set to release for the third time in the colourway’s history, with the worldwide release on May 13th! This colourway originally released in 2006, and it features a black nubuck upper, with yellow and white accents throughout resulting in a bold, striking, and unforgettable look. Air Jordan 3 Retro “Wizards” Review
Releasing for the first time to the public is a player exclusive version of the Air Jordan 3 that MJ wore as a member of the Washington Wizards. Similar to the “True Blue” colourway, this pair switches things up a bit incorporating the Wizards’ team colours of blue, white and copper. Controversial NBA star, Ja Morant, unveiled his first ever signature sneaker with Nike earlier this year, and I recently picked up the “Day One” colourway. This budget-conscious Nike Basketball shoe features a mesh upper, Zoom Air in the midsole, and a lifestyle-suitable design. JJJJound x Reebok Club C 85 “Olive” Review
JJJJound continued their ongoing partnership with Reebok by releasing a new version of the Club C 85. Crafted using a soft, tumbled white leather on the upper, olive coloured accents are seen throughout the shoe resulting in a very wearable, simple and versatile everyday sneaker. Kith x New Balance 998 (Broadacre City) “Apricot” & “Chutney” Review
Kith teamed up with Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and New Balance to release two beautiful colourways of the 998 silhouette, inspired by Wright’s Broadacre City concept. These two 998s are Made in USA, featuring a mix of earthy tones in pigsuede and hairy suede, mesh and more.
