This time, I’m breaking down this upcoming colourway nicknamed, “Supersonic”, which consists of white, cream and black detailing, with secret glow in the dark panels on the upper and rubber outsole! New Balance released the 860 V2 silhouette as part of a “Earth and Mars” pack consisting of two colourways. Today, I’m reviewing the “Mars” colourway on my channel, which features a beige mesh and synthetic nubuck build, and the ultra comfortable midsole that we’ve come to enjoy, used on other models like the 2002R and 1906R. Originally a Michael Jordan PE that he wore to a UNC Alumni game back in 1987, over three decades later and they are finally released to the public. The “UNC” Air Jordan 2 Low is crafted using white leather, with university blue coloured detailing throughout, resulting in a simple, wearable, but eye-catching summer shoe. The “Black Toe” colourway is crafted using a mix of premium white and black leather, as well as a more muted red leather on the heel. I recently picked up a pair of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 that was sitting on sale, in a retro-looking “Wheat Grass / Cacao Wow” colour combination. One of my favourite shoes to wear for comfort, these feature a mix of brown synthetic leather, tan and orange hits, and the Cushlon / Zoom cushioning combo everyone has come to love. Featuring a soft white leather upper, burgundy coloured accents, and a cracked leather quarter panel, these have that sophisticated, mature vibe to them that lets you rock them dressed up or down. This past Saturday, Jordan Brand released these “Black Cement” Air Jordan 1 Lows, honouring the 35th anniversary of the iconic Air Jordan 3 and its beloved elephant print pattern. Featuring a black nubuck base, elephant print overlays and a white leather Swoosh cover the shoe, it results in a very unique and polarizing look. Nike continues to pump out new colourways of the Zoom Vomero 5, which includes this one in “Yellow Strike”. This summer ready colourway is filled with bold, vibrant yellow shades, along with reflective 3M hits throughout. As always, the shoe’s exceptional comfort is due to the tech it’s filled with including a Cushlon midsole, Zoom Air under the heel and forefoot, and a lightweight mesh upper.
