To kick off April, Jordan Brand dropped a brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 11 Low model – in “Cement Grey”. The low top version of the Air Jordan 11 features a grey patent leather, along with crisp white mesh on the upper, and subtle hits of university blue throughout. Last month, as part of Kith’s Spring/Summer 2023 line, they released an exclusive 993 colourway that sold out instantly. This Made in USA pair is constructed in a mix of pig suede and mesh in tones of cream, grey and green. Adidas and A Bathing Ape recently (and quietly) released this special edition Campus 80 shoe that celebrated BAPE’s 30th year in business. This under-the-radar release came in special packaging and was dressed in rich, navy blue suede, with mismatching sides of the shoe paying homage to both brands. The “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 4 is a new colourway of the Air Jordan 4 model but is a very versatile, easy to wear pair that serves as a worthy alternate to the “White Cement” 4. Taking us back to 1986, Nike is set to launch this Air Max 1 that pays homage to the originals which featured a larger Air bubble, chunkier midsole, and a different looking upper. Back in the 80s, the original pairs were recalled and redesigned / relaunched with the smaller Air unit that we know today, but this retro is a nod to one of the best little known stories surrounding the iconic Air Max lineage ever told.

Ambush recently released their latest collaboration with Nike, on two colourways of the Air Force 1 Low. I picked up the “Phantom” colourway, which is crafted using premium leather, and features the familiar “Ambush touches” we’ve grown accustomed to, like the oversized TPU Swoosh, exposed tongue, and exaggerated heel counter.
