Last week, Kith and New Balance released a “10th Anniversary” pack which consisted of three pairs of the RC 1300 model. I picked up all three pairs, all of which are constructed using suede, mesh, and leather, with a chunky Encap Reveal and Abzorb blended midsole for exception comfort. It’s been a while, but my most recent Adidas Ultraboost pickup is the DNA 1.0 pair inspired by the ZX 8000 “Aqua”. These released alongside two other colourways which drew inspiration from similarly iconic ZX shoes. Covered in a light aqua coloured Primeknit, the sneaker sits atop the signature Boost midsole while channeling the vibe of the legendary late-80s runner.
Last week, Jordan Brand released the “Racer Blue” Air Jordan 3! This new colourway adopts the colour blocking style of the Fire Red 3 but swaps out the signature red for a bold blue shade. 3M is overlaid on top of the signature elephant print as well for an added level of flare. I’m back with another Nike By You custom Air Max 90! My latest design is inspired by End Clothing’s collaboration with New Balance on the 1500 “Rainbow Eucalyptus”. I tried adopting a similar colour scheme onto the Air Max 90 silhouette – so let me know how you think it turned out!
Rhuigi Villasenor’s collaboration with Puma is all kinds of fire! Working on the Puma Suede silhouette, its given a vintage touch with muted yellow tones, green suede hits, and a playful hit of faux croc leather on the heel. These Air Maxes are constructed in a combination of premium leather, suede and mesh, with a very earthy colour palette. New Balance kicked off their 990 Version series with the 990 V1, which celebrates the upcoming 40th anniversary of the model, which debuted back in 1982. This Made in USA pair is done in the classic grey colour scheme, but ruby red hits pay homage to its anniversary. Dropping on Saturday, July 3rd is the Air Jordan 4 Retro in a super clear and simplistic “White Oreo” colourway.
