The quintessential Adidas 80s basketball shoe has returned! The Forum 84 High was retroed in “OG” form in late December, featuring the signature white and blue look. Worn famously by Michael Jordan during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic trails, these were the Three Stripes’ marquee basketball sneaker of that era. Releasing last week, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 returned in a bright, bold “Sun” colourway. Looking like a yellowed-out version of the original Wave Runner pair, these incorporate vibrant tones including yellow and orange for a very eye catching look. UK retailer, End Clothing, teamed up with New Balance to release the 1500 “Rainbow Eucalyptus”. This special tree, native to Southeast Asia, is known for its rainbow coloured bark, and this sneaker draws inspiration from this in its release. Swedish-based boutique, Sneakersnstuff, teamed up with Adidas in late 2020 to release their take on the Ultra4D model! Nicknamed “Green Teatime” for its greenish shade, these look similar to the earlier collab, the “Tee Time” Ultraboost, but incorporating Adidas 4D technology in the midsole instead of Boost.
