Travis Scott and Jordan Brand returned today with a brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. This women’s release is inspired by Scott’s high school colours of blue and yellow, and is built in a mix of tumbled leather, and smooth suede. Originally an Asia-exclusive colourway from 1996, the “Ivory Snake” Air Force 1 Low is seeing its second release in the last five years, as part of Nike’s Cult Classics program. Canadian abstract artist, Callen Schaub, just launched his first ever collaboration with Saucony. Releasing two pairs on May 6th, today I’m reviewing one of the two – the Shadow 6000. Taking the 1991 retro runner, this colourway is crafted using smooth white leather and black mesh and suede. However it infuses Schaub’s artwork onto the side panels for an overall muted but still unique look. Huge thanks to Saucony Canada for sending over these!

Nike Basketball brought back this classic from 2011 – the Nike Kobe 6 “Italian Camo”. Built close to the original but tweaked in “protro” form, these feature a camo printed mesh upper, crimson accents, a full length Cushlon midsole, and Zoom Turbo under the forefoot. Releasing earlier this month was the women’s Air Jordan 4 “Vivid Sulfur”. A twists on the colour blocking of the Fire Red 4s, these opt for bold yellow tones atop a white leather base. Last retroed in 2012, the “Military Blue” Air Jordan 4 returns worldwide on May 4th. This original colourway of the Air Jordan 4 has been brought back two times prior, but this is the first retro to feature Nike Air branding, along with an improved shape that’s meant to look closer to the originals from the 80s.
