New Balance recently launched the 14th generation of one of their most popular running shoe lines – the 1080. Taking a similar approach to last year’s V13, it still features a breathable, flexible mesh upper, along with a beefy Fresh Foam X midsole which provides maximum cushioning and softness. Releasing earlier this month was the latest collab between Kith and New Balance. Dropping two pairs, this release consisted of a New Balance 1000, and the pair I’m reviewing today – the 990 V4. This “Moonrock” colourway features a dark beige mesh and suede upper, with cream accents and reflective detailing. And as always, it is made in New Balance’s USA factories. Today I’m reviewing the Venom themed Asics GT-2160 which was part of a two-shoe Battle Spectra Pack, alongside the Spider-Man colourway. Minted New York and Saucony collaborated for the first time, releasing this ProGrid Triumph 4. Inspired by New York City and the Statue of Liberty, this 2007 running shoe is given a lifestyle twist, with green, silver, and beige tones crafted in a mix of nubuck and synthetic materials. I recently picked up a pair of the New Balance 1906 Utility, also called the 1906N. This pair features a slightly different upper construction than your standard 1906R, with a mix of mesh, leather and synthetic layers. Capitalizing on the current trend of Y2K running shoes turned everyday sneakers, Nike relaunched the Air Pegasus 2005 model. This new colourway that released a few months ago features a mix of black, red and pink tones. Striking in colour as it is comfortable. Check out my review to learn more!

As part of Aimé Leon Dore’s Spring / Summer ’24 collection, the brand quietly released this New Balance 990 V6 “Incense” to the surprise of many. This Made in USA pair features cream, brown, and beige tones, drawing comparison to the “Mindful Grey” (Cream) general release pair from 2023.
